There is a known issue where you get one of the following error messages:

Solution #1

This error is caused by an Apple iOS bug, which can be corrected by doing the following:

  1. Go to System Settings of your iOS device
  2. Go to Calendar (or Mail, Contacts, Calendars in iOS9 and below)
  3. Scroll all the way down to Default Calendar
  4. Change Default Calendar to another calendar
  5. Reboot your device completely (power cycle it)

Apple is aware of this issue, but has not yet provided a definite fix.

Solution #2

If you do not have the above setting, please try the following:

  1. Inside Week Calendar, tap on the Settings icon (2nd icon on the bottom bar)
  2. Tap on Settings in the upper-left corner
  3. Go to New Events & Defaults
  4. Go to Default Values
  5. Go to Default Calendar
  6. Change Default Calendar to another calendar
  7. Reboot your device completely (power cycle it)

Solution #3

If none of the above solutions work and you only have one calendar:

  1. Please enable iCloud Calendars on your device
  2. Reboot your device completely (power cycle it)
