There is a known issue where you get one of the following error messages:
- 'Cannot Save Event'
- 'No Calendar has been set'
Solution #1
This error is caused by an Apple iOS bug, which can be corrected by doing the following:
- Go to System Settings of your iOS device
- Go to Calendar (or Mail, Contacts, Calendars in iOS9 and below)
- Scroll all the way down to Default Calendar
- Change Default Calendar to another calendar
- Reboot your device completely (power cycle it)
Apple is aware of this issue, but has not yet provided a definite fix.
Solution #2
If you do not have the above setting, please try the following:
- Inside Week Calendar, tap on the Settings icon (2nd icon on the bottom bar)
- Tap on Settings in the upper-left corner
- Go to New Events & Defaults
- Go to Default Values
- Go to Default Calendar
- Change Default Calendar to another calendar
- Reboot your device completely (power cycle it)
Solution #3
If none of the above solutions work and you only have one calendar:
- Please enable iCloud Calendars on your device
- Reboot your device completely (power cycle it)
